Be respectful
Treat people with courtesy, regardless of background, identity, experience or professional status. Harassment, intimidation and discriminatory behaviour are not welcome.
Contribute thoughtfully
Listen, make space for others and keep conversations useful. Ask before pitching services or adding someone to a mailing list.
Respect confidentiality
Ask before sharing someone’s contact details, quoting a private conversation or photographing a person. Do not share another participant’s unpublished business information without permission.
Raise a concern
Contact the organising team if something makes you uncomfortable. At an event, speak to an organiser directly. The team may ask participants to leave when their behaviour undermines a respectful environment.
